Whitings Hill Primary School

Pupil Premium

We have high aspirations and ambitions for our children and we believe that no child should be left behind.

We strongly believe that it is not about where you come from but your passion and thirst for knowledge, and your dedication and commitment to learning that make the difference between success and failure. We are determined to ensure that our children are given every chance to realise their full potential. Pupil Premium Funding, along with allocations made from the schools own budget will help ensure that this money is spent to maximum effect.

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of statutory school age who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or children who have been eligible in the last six years. It is also for children who have been looked after by the local authority continuously for more than six months, and children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.

Schools receive £1,455 per child in receipt of PPG and £2,530 looked after child (LAC). Schools will be held accountable for how the additional funding is used to support pupils and are required to show the impact of this spending.

If you think that your child might be eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant, please follow the link below. The School Office will be happy to support (in confidence) if this would be helpful.
