The end of the school year is in sight. The children have worked very hard on their end of term assessments and their fantastic results reflect this. All the children will be bringing home an end of year reports at the end of this term. Please spend some time talking to your child about what they have achieved and the areas they can work on as they begin Year Five in September.
The end of term is always a busy time and this year is no exception. We have the summer fair, sports day, change over day and our trip to the seaside to look forward to. The children are very keen to find out who will be their teacher next year. All will be revealed later in the month!
The recent hot spell, that saw the country enjoying the highest temperatures since 1976, made being in a classroom challenging but the children reacted with their usual resilient attitude and just got on with it - drinking lots of water and taking off their shoes and socks while in the classroom.
As 4M comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents and carers of children in our class for their support this year. It has helped to make a good year into a fantastic one.
Miss Murphy, Ms Davidson and Mrs Mogford.
