Friday 1st May
Apologies if due to replicated information on Google Classroom, that there has been any confusion over dates of this competition. It has now finished but please take a look on my new page, VE Day, for more activities and competitions.
Take care and keep smiling.
Lots of love Miss Ogden xx
Ms Patel was as impressed by the creativity and imagination of the competition entries as I was, so she had a really tricky time just choosing 3 winners, so she went for a top 5.
All prizes, including the ones for everybody from me, will be given out when we return to normality.
Wishing you a lovely day, keep safe and enjoy the sunshine if you can.
Lot of love Miss Ogden xx
A big thank you to everybody who entered the St. George's Day competition, I loved receiving all your entries and reading about all the fun you had creating them.
Everyone who entered is a winner in my eyes and when we get back to school, I have a little prize for you all but later today Ms Patel is going to look at all your entries and choose some overall winners.
I will publish the list of winners on here on Friday.
Good luck and take care.

St Georges Day - England's Day
What and when is St. George's Day?
St Georges' Day is on 23 April.
St George's Day is celebrated in England on 23 April, in honour of St George, the patron saint of England.
What does the flag of St George look like?
Who was St St George?
A story dating back to the 6th century tells that St George rescued a maiden by slaying a fearsome fire-breathing dragon. The Saint's name was shouted as a battle cry by English knights who fought beneath the red-cross banner of St George during the Hundred Years War (1338-1453).
What is the national emblems of England?
The national emblem and national flower of England is a red rose
The flower has been adopted as England’s emblem since the time of the Wars of the Roses - civil wars (1455-1485) between the royal house of Lancaster (whose emblem was a red rose) and the royal house of York (whose emblem was a white rose).
Whitings Hill Challenge.......!!!!

by Tuesday 21st April 2020.
On Wednesday 22nd April I will produce a gallery of the finished results and put them on here ready for St. George's Day on the 23rd April.
In addition if you want to do any pictures or models of dragons or St George himself, take a photo and send those as well. Don't forget to include your name and year group somewhere.
Enjoy, I'll look forward to seeing your entries.
