October 2020

Weather - the weather was incredibly changeable in September, hot in the morning to rainy in the afternoon or windy all day long. As we go into October I would ask you to make sure that your child has a coat and, perhaps a hat and gloves. The temperature may change and I want you to rest assured that I will insist on coats being worn at break times.

Hand moisture/cream- with the amount of hand washing going on and the change in weather we are noticing a few children are experiencing dry or cracked skin. A number of parents have asked that their child uses hand cream after washing their hands. Could you please make sure the child has their name on the bottle/tube. If it fits in their drawer then this is where the container will be kept. If too large then it will be kept near the sink. Please remind your child not to borrow or share hand cream.

The temperature feels as though it has really dropped today - gloves may be a good idea.

Have a good half term break.
