November 2020

November already - time is flying by so fast it's hard to keep pace with it.  The children are rising to all the challenges put before them and are keen to share their existing knowledge and skills while at the same time developing new ones.

We have successfully completed our first half term of learning in Year Five and the children all performed well and have shown enthusiasm for all the different learning they have done.

Our new topic for this half term is called 'Changing States and Anglo Saxons'. An electronic version is available to download on this, our 5M page. Please keep your copy on display so you can discuss with your child what we are doing each week in class.

A big thank you to everyone for taking part in our parents consultation telephone calls, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to discuss your child's progress and attainment with you.  It was reassuring to see how highly you value your child's education and how much you support everything we do in school - your children are lucky to have such dedicated parents and carers.

The children have returned to school after the October half term holiday happy and full of enthusiasm for learning.  Despite the current circumstances we find ourselves in, due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the children continue to work hard and enjoy being at school.
