SPORTS AND HEALTHY EATING WEEK 20th – 24th JUNE
Next week we are having Sport and Healthy Eating Week in school. The children will be participating in an hour of Physical Activity every day, playing lots of games and having fun. They will also be discussing and thinking about healthy eating. Each child will be bringing home a food and activity diary. Please help your child to fill this in for the 7 days. We are also asking them what the grownups do over the weekend so watch out!
During the week we’d like to invite you parents and carers to join in three of our After School Clubs:
Monday – come along to Woody’s football or Miss Ogden’s tennis club – we’d love to see you play with your child or join in cricket club with Miss Shardlow on Friday - the more the merrier!
Children are invited to ‘Bring their scooter/bike’ to school all week. They can be stored outside the classrooms by the windows (but are not to be used without supervision during the day) however, some teachers will be using them for some activities in class.
Seven classes will have a session with Paul Wood on the Monday
On Tuesday and Wednesday Years 6 – 3 will be leading activities for the younger children
Look out for lots of photos on class webpages to see what we get all get up to! Please make sure your child has their complete PE and swimming kits in school every day so they can participate in everything during the week. Let’s hope for great weather too!
