The freezing cold wind couldn't stop the children from Whitings Hill taking part in the Sport Relief run this morning. Everybody's target was to run at least 5 laps of the school and many of our super-fit runners did a lot more than that. They were joined on the run by the teachers and some intrepid parents.
Everyone had lots of fun and their smiling faces helped warm us all despite the bitter cold. They were, of course, also raising money for Sport Relief. All sponsorship money should be sent to school by Thursday 24th March. Thanks again to Miss Shardlow for organising the event and all the children, teachers and parents for joining in with such enthusiasm.
