We are delighted to welcome GB Triple Jumper Nathan Fox to our school on Monday 30th November for a fundraising event, which was launched on Friday 20th in assembly.
Nathan will arrive at school early Monday morning and the children will participate in a circuit of activities, one class at a time in the hall which include the exercises: spotty dog, press ups, leg drives and star jumps, a minute for each one. Ask your child to explain what these are! The money raised will mean we can buy some equipment for our school and also support athletes and Paralympic athletes in their careers which is fantastic.
After the circuits the whole school will regroup and have a special assembly where Nathan will answer some questions and tell us more about his sport.
We are very lucky to be able to offer this experience and we can't wait to meet Nathan. Children can win prizes for the amount they raise and some children have already launched their fundraising web pages which is great - well done!! Get practising those exercises...how many can you do in one minute...?
