It was Healthy Lifestyles Week from Monday 18th June until Friday 22nd June and the children had a great time learning about how to keep fit and healthy, trying out skipping tricks and tasting healthy foods.
Classes tried to do some physical exercise every day during the week and each class also had the opportunity to take part in a Skipping Workshop. This has really inspired the children and skipping is now the most popular activity in the playground at break-times which is one very positive effect from our healthy lifestyle focus.
There was also fruit galore floating around the school during the week and the children constructed some complex fruit salad arrangements and concocted their own smoothie recipes. Yum!
A special thanks to Mrs Robinson especially and the other teachers for organising the activities during this very enjoyable and of course, healthy week at school.
