The Big Me event organised by Chesterfield House on Wednesday 24th May was really fantastic. The children looked great dressed up "for work" and really enjoyed talking about what they want to be when they grow up.
A number of parents also volunteered to come into classes to talk to the children about their work. The children were fascinated to hear about the interesting jobs that our parents have and it definitely got them thinking about their own futures. The speakers were very engaging and we really appreciate the effort they put in to make it interesting for the children.
You know it was a big success when the children are still talking about it the next day. So thanks again to Mrs Best and Chesterfield House for organising the day and once again, a special thanks to the parents who took time off work (!!) to come in to talk to the children.
