The following resources can be used in whichever way works for you. You can do a music activity a day or every other day or once a week. It can be part of your brain breaks in between other activities or it could be a stand-alone session in your weekly activities. It’s up to you!
Out of the ark
Out of the ark is a great resource that many schools use. They produce thousands of songs, singing resources, songbooks and plays. “Music has an extraordinary power to bring us together, it can lift us when we feel low, energise us when we feel tired, and is something we all have in common.”
Out of the ark will be releasing 7 songs, one for each day, along with challenges and activities related to each song. They already have 2 weeks’ worth of songs on there for you and will continue to add more songs in the upcoming weeks.
Sing Up is a website which provides an endless amount of songs that encourages and supports children to sing. They do this by creating easy-to-use musical and learning resources, which engages pupils and is enjoyable to work.
With schools across the world closing, Sing up has made a collection of free resources to keep you learning and singing outside of school. They will continue to add new resources so make sure you keep checking the website for for more.
Music with Myleene Klass
