4th March

We had so much fun in Science this week. We carried out an experiment. We wanted in investigate the effect different liquids had on drinks. We poured equal amounts of liquid into different containers and used eggs to test the impact. We couldn't use real human teeth - egg shells are very similar to the enamel on our teeth so the eggs worked perfectly. We look forward to finding out the results next week!

In maths we've continued learning about fractions - the children are being extremely resilient and always try their best even if it gets hard. We focused on equivalent fractions and learnt that whatever the denominator is multiplied by, we must do the same to the numerator.

In English we have been writing documentaries in the style of David Attenborough. They are fantastic! Hopefully next week we will be able to record them and show them to you!

We played netball in PE. Sam and I were so impressed with the children's skills and the fact they'd remembered all the rules from Autumn term.

Excellent week year 4! We finished it off by getting extremely creative in golden time with large paper.
