We've had a fun week in 4 Turquoise. In Maths we have started looking at measurement. The children have been measuring objects and learning how to convert between mm, cm and m. We also looked at adding lengths. We started our new Science topic this week. We are now looking at sound. The children explored the different sounds around the school and how instruments, including our voices, make sound by vibrating. In PE we continued to focus on dance and practice the Roman turtle formation and demonstrated how the organisation and discipline of the Romans were effective in defeating British tribes. In PSHE we have been focusing on rights and responsibilities and how they are different. Can you tell your grown up what rights and responsibilities you have at school and at home? Some of the children finished the week by choosing to play twister in golden time, it was a lot of fun to watch!
