On Monday 13th March we went on our trip to Barnet Country Side Centre. We caught the 184 bus from outside the school and got off at the top of Byng Road. We then walked down to the Countryside Centre. Caroline our guide was fantastic, telling us all about natural habitats. After our snack, we walked followed a trail through the countryside exploring the area. We saw wild mushrooms growing, felt a mossy carpet and listened for birds chirping.
We learnt how animals camouflaged themselves in nature by finding coloured pieces of wool, then went on a mini beast hunt.
As the weather was so lovely we had a picnic lunch outside, then came back to school. We all had an amazing day and learnt so much about animals that live in the countryside.
